Part 1: The Geography of the French Revolution

 1.   Following the success of the American Revolution, the ideas of the Enlightenment also ignite a spirit of revolution in France.  By helping America defeat England, the French Monarchy unknowingly ignited a
       revolution that will seek to overturn the Old Regime.  Economic problems, the failure to reform, and the spread of Enlightenment ideas will begin a run away revolution in France!

 2.  First, complete the map on Slide #2 to learn some basic French Revolution geography.  You should be able to drag the items on the left onto the map.  If you cannot, simply use your text box tool.  Use the
      maps below to help you place each item in it's correct location.  You can also use your own Internet search if you would prefer.

                 
     
     





 2.  Participate in a classroom review of the map.  Please be prepared to participate.

      glossary or conduct an Internet search.

2.   Read pages 573-576, use the online resources below, or conduct your own Internet search to complete the chart on slide #7 to learn more about the Estates.
